Offering FREE classes like Excel training, computer basics for seniors, and more ensures that everyone in our community has the opportunity to thrive in a technology-driven society. By providing these resources at no cost, we empower individuals to build vital skills, improve their job prospects, and stay connected in an increasingly digital world.

Basic Computer Skills for Seniors

​Are you getting ‘grumpy’ tech support from your family? Gain confidence in using technology with Basic Computer Skills. This class is for seniors who are a little confused about ‘how this dang thing works’!

What you will learn:

  • Using a mouse and keyboard

  • Selecting and moving files

  • Creating and saving files

  • Navigating apps and websites

 

When: July 7 - July 10th | 1 pm to 3 pm

Where: MAM West Campus - 2424 Wilcrest

Basic Excel

What you will learn:

  • Opening, naming, and saving workbooks

  • Identifying active cells

  • Analyzing and displaying data (AutoSum, sorting)

  • Using formulas and charts

 

When: 4 Fridays, starting on July 11th | 10 am to 12 pm
