Title: Store/Boutique Supervisor
Reports to: Vice President of Operations
Department: Resale Store
Employment Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Impact Statement: Assisting: The store /Boutique Supervisor assists the VP of Operations with the handling of day-to-day operations of the Resale Store creates opportunities to sell more merchandise which directly impacts MAM’s ability to provide programs and services for our community. By overseeing the workroom processes and quality control, the Store Supervisor ensures that there is quality merchandise for the public to purchase.
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Supervise staff and volunteers in management’s absence.
· Responsible for overall management and operations of the store/boutique in the absence of management which includes but not limited to the opening and closing of the store/boutique, assuring coverage and handling of monies and daily reports.
· Prioritize and assign CSV/volunteer tasks.
· Models and exhibits proactive and proper customer service skills to our customers, donors, co-workers, and volunteers.
· Communicate workroom needs to management.
· Orients, trains, schedules, and supervises SER Volunteers
· Provides Quality Assurance oversight for donation sorting.
· Cashiering
· Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods.
· Responsible for adequate stock in boutique floor and quantity for restocking by doing tasks required such as sorting for merchandise, prepping merchandise (cleaning) pricing and stocking.
Qualifications:
· Commitment to the MAM mission.
· Bi-lingual is preferred, but not required – English & Spanish
· Prior experience in retail sales or demonstration of ability to work across different departments and focus on the financial success of the store.
· Demonstrates flexibility in ability to work an altered work schedule as required and manage schedules for others to support the necessary store coverage.
· Must be detail oriented with a focus on accuracy.
· Strong focus on customer service and people oriented.
· Ability to work with a variety of people including volunteers and Community Service volunteers.
· Ability to work without direct supervision.
· Available to work weekends.
· Merchandising experience helpful
Physical Demands:
· Regularly required to talk, hear, and smell
Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, sit, use keyboard, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Required to have the ability to lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds without assistance or support.

Working Conditions/ Work Environment:
· Primary work location is a climate-controlled indoor warehouse, but regularly requires working outside in a variety of weather conditions such as cold, rainy, heat, etc.
· Flexibility for travel related to job requirements.
· Provide own reliable transportation with proof of valid driver’s license and TX minimum requirements of auto insurance.
Remote Working Conditions/ Work Environment:
· Primary work location at MAM. Under specific conditions, such as if the shop is closed due to issues such as weather or pandemic conditions, this position may perform certain duties remotely. These tasks will be discussed and determined at the time to meet business needs.
