Title: Quality and Innovation Manager

Job Summary: The Quality and Innovation Manager is part of a dynamic team, in a growing organization, where the work truly makes a difference. It supports leadership and staff to maintain and improve the overall operations of each department, ensuring effective processes are in place to achieve the best results. Candidate oversees and supports MAM’s in-house data systems and data analytics processes. The Manager is also responsible for the implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement and Innovation (CQII) projects aligned with MAM’s strategic goals and priorities, and the corresponding change management needs.
Responsibilities
Systems and Data Management
· Develops and implements strategies to collect, analyze, and maintain the quality of organizational data, which includes MAM systems’ administration as well as third party systems, i.e., data sharing systems with partners, government agencies, funders, etc.
· Oversees the data reporting system, including developing, maintaining, and producing all reports.
· Continually learns about MAM to understand organizational systems, requirements, and priorities to ensure data and systems are designed to be responsive to our needs.
· Participates and collaborates with other organizations using sharing data systems.
· Ensures that all work is performed with exacting standards of confidentiality, security, accuracy, timeliness, and meets regulatory standards.
Continuous Quality Improvement and Innovation
· Candidate is to design, implement, and maintain MAM’s CQII program including educating staff and volunteers about its systems and requirements.
· Meets with internal and external audiences to identify and problem solve quality issues.
· With the CQII Committee, develops plans and projects for interventions, and ensures timely implementation and follows-ups.
· Develops and implements internal audit processes as needed.
· Identifies opportunities to align policies and procedures to improve organizational effectiveness.
IT
· Serves as liaison between MAM and the IT contractor.
· Works with IT contractor to meet MAM system and user needs.
Duties
Systems and data management
· Ensures that data, systems, and reports are aligned with agency goals and desired outcomes; supplies relevant information that informs the strategic direction of the organization.
· Develops activities to improve data collection, data quality, data completion, and reporting processes.
· Provides basic support to system users (accounts, roles, reports, forms, funds, clients, families, duplicates, vendors, process, and other as demand).
· Maintains systems, implements changes (demographics, programs, forms, reports, clients, etc.); coordinates work with (third party) report experts when needed.
· Serves as central resource for statistics, data, and related information needed organization wide.
· Supports managers in owning data input and integrity within their programs and incorporating the use of reports on a regular basis.
· Maintains system documentation, training materials, and manuals; trains new users and share changes with current users.
· Cleans and prepares data for reports for all departments in a timely manner, following established reporting processes.
· Provides support to the Outcomes Committee.
· Participates in collaborations with partners, funders, donors, regarding data sharing needs and other system needs.
· Supports implementation of all policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, security, and accuracy across the organization, trains, and coaches' staff daily.
Continuous Quality Improvement and Innovation
· Leads the CQII’s program, maintaining an effective level of coordination on all assigned projects.
· Participates, with CQII committee and executive management, in the request and prioritization process.
· Recommends process improvement for workflow, policies, processes, and procedures as needed.
· Conducts program/departmental audits and coordinates the implementation of improvement plans
· Works with staff and volunteers at all levels to integrate innovative and quality methods into processes and workflow.
· Stays up to date with the status of CQI plans and initiatives.
· Uses innovative approaches and methodologies (i.e., design thinking) in CQII projects.
· Maintains CQII documentation, training materials, and manuals.
· Trains staff and volunteers in CQII processes, and workflows.
· Leads the CQII Committee; supports and coaches its members; participates and follows up on action plans, projects, and deadlines.
IT
· Works with system(s) support and IT Contractor on any user, hardware, software, or network issues.
· Acts as a bridge/liaison between ITSP and MAM users to help clarify issues so IT contractor can troubleshoot.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· 3-4 years of experience in a similar role; experience in non-profit, social service sector preferred.
· 2 years of demonstrated effectiveness in project management and quality improvement.
· BA/BS in a relevant field.
· Highly proficient with numbers and databases: advanced skills with Excel, experience with Salesforce and Web Intelligence tools preferred.
· Innovative problem solver; Detail-oriented, yet flexible.
· Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
· Able to work well with minimal direction and consistently produce high-quality work.
· Available to work between 8:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and occasional evening or weekends to meet business needs.
Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use keyboard, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• Required to remain at their workstation for prolonged periods of time.
