Development Specialist (P/T)

The Development Specialist is responsible for:

  • The donor gift acknowledgement process using DonorPerfect

  • Supporting the internal efforts of the fund development department through a variety of general and specific office functions

  • Proficient in MS Office in Outlook, Word, and Excel, using tables, formulas, etc

  • Ability to utilize mail merges, appropriate letter formats, etc. to create personalized donor correspondence

  • Experience working with DonorPerfect or similar donor/sales/CRM software

  • Strong administrative and clerical skills

  • Strong command of the English written language

  • Financial and statistical record-keeping experience

  • Reliable use of a smartphone


Required - High school graduate with three years of experience in a general office environment with expansive computer usage required

Work Location & Environment:

Location: On-Site - 1625 Blalock

Successful candidates will be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen, as well as prove their qualifications through skills testing which align with the essential requirements of this position.
